Graduate Student Representative; 2019-2020
I graduated Longwood University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in psychology. I then began clinical work in the mental health field where I eventually became certified as a QMHP-C by the Virginia Board of Counseling. I am now enrolled in Liberty University’s clinical mental health counseling program in hopes of earning my Master of Arts and becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia. As a professional who continues to gain experience in the mental health field, I find it crucial that counselors have a holistic understanding of others’ beliefs and values to not only have better understanding of clients, but to also provide treatment which is meaningful and best caters to the individual.
